joão castro pinto and clemens hausch

I am taking pictures from concerts/perfomances organized by moozak since a bit more than a year now. Moozak is "...a record-label for experimental music with heart and soul and aims at sounding the borderlines of musical expression" [from their self-description].

The concerts/performances, held on a regular basis under the name klub moozak gave me more than the opportunity to make some pictures and get source material for my portfolio - rather than this, theses evenings extended my horizon concerning music, sound and ways of expression.
Again from their self-description: "klub moozak is not only a place for extreme sounds but just as well a physical basis for those who expect more of an evening at a nightclub than just dj's and beautiful people.
we want to abandon stylistic self-restrictions and break down walls that obstruct sonorical varieties through a liturgical-ritual way of communication with different forms of waves and frequencies."

This Monday, April 19th 2010, clemens hausch (one of the founders of moozak) performed together with joão castro pinto here in Vienna. It was just beautiful to see and especially hear them communicating without words, just sounds... João Castro Pinto performed some months ago within a klub moozak evening, and I really enjoyed seeing and hearing him again. Especially seeing him perform...

As someone hinted - Clemens' behind does seem like its glowing on one picture...
And what a gleaming performance it was. Thanks for the impressions. It's charming how João expresses himself.

He who might be referred to as 'Mr. Gloomingbutt' will definitely flay poor me - but I will suffer laughing...
